99-03 7.3 Powerstroke Saginaw Power Steering Pump Mount
99-03 7.3 Powerstroke Saginaw Power Steering Pump Mount
The 7.3 Powerstroke used in Ford Superduty trucks has a poorly supported power steering pump that doesn't always perform well. This kit was created to solve the problems of the Ford pump through replacing it with the long proven Saginaw P style pump used on 2001-2010 GM Duramax pickups.
The Duramax pump was chosen because it's packaging fits very well, comes set to 1400 PSI, is readily available new or remanufactured, affordably priced and has a great track record for reliability. Saginaw pumps from other applications, including performance aftermarket versions will fit this mount as well.
Laser cut, CNC machined steel mounts are fixture welded, sandblasted and powdercoated in satin black. This mount system bolts directly to the 7.3 cylinder head replacing the original die cast mount. This mount places the alternator in the factory position. It has extra clearance built in to accommodate larger frame, higher capacity alternators. Uses your stock serpentine belt. The pulley is in exactly the same location as the Ford pump.
When you install this kit on your 7.3 Superduty you can expect less noise, longer lasting fluid, improved idle and low speed steering.
Kit includes:
-Mounting brackets
-Premium 10.9 zinc plated flange head hardware
-Silicone wrapped stainless steel hose protection clamp
-Clear instructions with pictures
In addition to this kit you will need:
